Tinker horses, also known as Gypsy Cobs, were bred by Irish Travellers and British Romani to pull the traditional colorful caravans called vardos. They're a sturdy mix of draft breeds like Shire and Clydesdale with smaller native ponies, giving them both pulling power and endurance for life on the road. Their abundant leg feathering, flowing manes, and bold piebald coloring make them one of the most photogenic breeds around.
