Place container in areas that acheive desired supplement intake. Privide one container for every 3 to 20 horses. A minimum of two containers may be nressary in each pen or pasture to assure consistent intake and proper accessibility.
To introduce or encourage intake with sensitive animals
Place in areas where animals loaf or congregate.
Remove cover and apply a handful of loose salt, grain, texturized or pelleted feeds to the surface of the block.
Or apply a small amount of water to the top of the block after scraping the surface.
