COFFEE
Columbian FTO- customer favorite!
Columbia is second only to Brazil in volume of Arabica coffee produced. Unlike Brazil, most Columbian coffee is hand picked, due to rough terrain. Their coffee tends to be pretty well-balanced, with higher elevations yielding a more complex cup for the specialty coffee industry. Our current offering is sourced as a wet processed, Fair Trade Organic
from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta coastal mountains. A well balanced cup with a medium body, bright acidity, great aroma, and a nutty finish. Roasted to a medium roast.
Harmony Blend- very popular!
Single origin coffees are great. Each has its own unique characteristics. But suppose we could take a number of different origins and blend them into one? We started with a good Columbia
for a steady base with its aroma and chocolate notes, added some Ethiopia
for the fruity tang, and balanced it out with Papua New Guinea
for body and sweetness. A harmonious blend for a dose of serenity. Roasted to a medium roast.
Papua New Guinea-Fair Trade Organic Beans
-darker roast favorite!
PNG coffees are dried in parchment, similar to Sumatras, but less "earthy". This has quickly become our second most popular coffee, next to the Columbian. This coffee is roasted carefully right up to the smoky edge of a dark roast to bring out its sweetness and accent the creamy body, while being careful not to go too far where the apricot and caramel notes are hidden. Roasted to a medium/dark roast.
Rhythm Espresso Blend
The Rythym Espresso Blend is roasted to create a darker roast . Columbia is our base with its aroma and chocolate notes, and Papua New Guinea for its body and sweetness. To finish off this unique blend we added a little premier Brazil coffee! This coffee is light in acidity and adds notes of citrus to complete this blend. This blend is great to use with an Espresso Machine. Perfect to enjoy all day long! Roasted to a medium roast.
